Redesigning the Facebook Browser
Role: Product Designer leading the redesign and execution of the Facebook browser to focus on helping them with consideration during the purchase cycle.

The web viewer experience was outdated and sub-optimal based on research.
Facebook Problem
Apple is increasing their privacy restrictions. How might we mitigate drop off and keep people in the Facebook ecosystem in order to improve Ads?
Business Problem
A significant number of transactions will continue to happen through the browser, so strategies that enable onsite/offsite integration will be key for businesses to succeed.
People Problem
The facebook browser is unfamiliar and ineffective in providing guidance for people during the consideration phase of the purchase cycle.
From the Facebook News Feed, any link you click will direct them to the new Facebook In-App Web Viewer. There information is aggregated from facebook pages to provide useful information to the user.
Navigational header & magic footer are minimized on scroll.
This helps people feel immersed in the web content which they are viewing.
